And of course me being the picky person that I am I did not add the onion mixture and i added pepperjack cheese instead of the swiss and we used honey ham and i also added a little spicy mustard the hubby and i like spicy!  but im posting it here so you will have the option of doing so! If you try these please let me know how you like them!

this is their photo with the onion mixture on it

And this is my version WITHOUT the onion mixture, so the choice is yours! Thats what recipes are all about finding a recipe and making it your own put your own spin on it and adjust it to what YOUR family likes!

Ingredients:
1 Package of 12 Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
1 onion, minced or grated
1 stick of butter
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
3 teaspoons of poppy seeds
1/2 lb of ham
8 slices of swiss cheese

Directions
1. Melt butter in a small skillet and add onions, combine mustard Worcestershire sauce and poppy seeds into the onions and butter simmer until onions are tender
Slice rolls as a group length wise and put the bottom section in a foil lined 13x9 baking dish
Spread 3/4 of the onion mixture on the bottom section of the rolls followed by the ham and cheese
Top with the other half of the rolls and spread the remaining mixture on top of the rolls
Bake covered with foil for 20 mins @ 350 degrees

I did mine uncovered gave them more of a toasted feel to them, the choice is yours!
Enjoy!
